Description:

Orisa is quickly becoming one a popular Overwatch character for competitive and casual players. Her kit is versatile, easy to use, and inherent tankiness always helps pad players survivability if mobility isn’t their strong suit.

However, the real power of Orisa obviously comes from this incredibly powerful technique that, without fail, will quickly define the competitive meta for years to come.

We have all see Basketball Shenanigans, but this one might be the most visually stunning.

Shoutouts to  for this absurd clip.

Overwatch: Mei get’s creative

Game: Overwatch
Category: Creative
Beauty: 9/10
Opponents Skill: 10/10

Description:

This moment happened during an intense match between two professional Overwatch teams, Meta Athena and Afreeca Freecs Blue. Meta Athena is on the attack and utilizes a seldom picked hero (in competitive Overwatch) Mei.

What comes next, though, is amazing.

Using Mei’s icewall, the entire team in unison boosts over an otherwise unpassable area in order to attack from an extremely unexpected and strange angle. It catches the other team off guard and forces a fight in extremely close quarters.

the creative strategy played during a high stakes tournament is enough to give this moment a mention. Hats off to Meta Athena!

SSB4: The mutual mind games

Game: Super Smash Brothers 4
Category: Humor
Beauty: 8/10
Opponents Skill: 8/10

Description:

Super Smash Brothers 4 isn’t as fast-paced as its Melee counterpart, but that doesn’t mean the jukes and mind games are absent.

Smash 4 is all about staying safe and predicting when your opponent is about to do something unsafe. So it isn’t too hard to imagine that this moment happens in the middle of two players deep in competitive focus.

The Peach is waiting to see what the Diddy Kong does. The Diddy Kong is waiting to see what the Peach does. And then everything stops and both player shields slowly drop in unison.

This stupid (yet beautiful) moment was brought to us by  and 8BrettMan

For Honor – Cinematic 2v1 looks like an action movie sequence

Game: For Honor
Category: Outnumbered
Beauty: 9/10
Opponents Skill: 6/10

Description:

Nobushi is one of the flashiest classes in For Honor. Combined that with a dangerous 2 vs. 1 (leaving the Nobushi surrounded) and a skilled player calm enough to identify the correct play and you get a really beautiful moment. The Nobushi in this clips switches back and forth between opponents, keeping each and bay and damaging them effectively with DoT effects. The result is one of the coolest bits of For Honor gameplay. It looks like a commercial for the game!

Shoutouts to @h20Delirious for this cool looking moment. Keeping cool in a 2 v 1 is always difficult but it looks so sweet once it’s pulled off.

COD: Modern Warfare — The mind games are real

Game: COD Modern Warfare
Category: Mind Games
Beauty: 8/10
Opponents Skill: 6/10

Description:

FPS games are fast paced and extremely cut throat. Players rely on twitch instincts to react immediately to on-screen enemies, shooting first and asking questions later.

Which is why whenever a stealth play happens in the middle of a match, we pause and take notice. In this clip, one player artfully avoids detection even at point blank range, resisting the urge to kill the enemy. Instead, our highlight player waits until the objective is placed so he can disarm it and win the round immediately. So nice.

Shoutouts to @PmL_Tokes for this awesome play. I can’t believe the patience it took to pull this off.

Game: Super Smash Brothers Melee
Category: Don’t give up
Beauty: 9/10
Opponents Skill: 10/10

Description:

SSBM has reached veteran status as an eSport and continues to be one of the premier PvP experiences for fighting game players. Not everyone can reach the level of skill and execution needed to compete at high level Melee, but those who do are rewarded with an deep and incredibly rich fighting game.

So we love to feature top plays from recent tournaments. This play comes from Tempo Storm’s Axe. He is the best Pikachu player in the world and single-handedly brings the oft-ignored character to the highest levels of play and respect. During Smash Summit Spring 2017, he starts an incredible comeback vs. Mango when already on his last stock. The momentum by this incredible series of reads and gimps ultimate gives Axe the win.

If you haven’t you have to watch the whole set!

Overwatch: Lucio is making this look easy

Game: Overwatch
Category: Stylish
Beauty: 8/10
Opponents Skill: 7/10

Description:

Overwatch will make this site frequently and it’s really no surprise. Not only are the characters extremely stylish (and beloved by nearly every game) but the potential for outplays and cool moments are seemingly endless.

Enter this awesome Lucio clip. It won play of the game and deservedly so. After doing some effective wall rides and aggressively diving the enemy team, this Lucio manages to take out 3 enemy heroes with powerful boops that knock the enemy off the battleground, killing them instantly.

At the end, Zenyatta kills himself because he knows Lucio already single handedly wiped his team– no reason to feed more ultimate meter. Heads up play by Lucio!
